The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Mr. Abdullahi Batili, held consultations in Benghazi with members of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee (for the Libyan East), where he discussed with them
the security and political landscape in Libya, including the current challenges.
Mr. Batelli urged them to intensify their efforts to fully implement the ceasefire agreement, stressing the need for all Libyan leaders to support the equal participation of all regions in the political, economic and security processes related to the future of the country.
