The military media is a branch of specialty of comprehensive media, rather it represents a stronghold and an important base of state national security and the main tool of transferring the military role and activity to the public which is a task based on interaction with the threats and challenges of the national security and in order to affirm the state strategy to face these challenges. Objectives of military Media: 1.Implanting of bases of military faith and values of sacrifice ,giving and sharing for the nation and faith .Moral and psychological preparation to be most fit for working on formation of a military entity for the nation. 2.Implanting sense belonging and protecting the most important achievements of the 17th February which is imposing the will of the people over everything and asserting the loyalty to God firstly and then to home country. 3.Striking back any media attack aiming for psychological war to shake up the moral spirit and the performance of the military forces in particular and the Libyan citizens in general. 4.Introducing the state political stance and its development through the explanation of the internal and external dimensions and stance of different powers of those with or against the state stance and the ones supporting or making allies with its enemies. 5.Raising level of consciousness in terms of highlighting military history of the country and the wars of ancestors against Italians to assert the conceptions of loyalty and identification to the homeland and defending it. 6.Making contribution n and coordinating with national media institutions to vitalize and energize the role of the army and formation of very loyal and national and conscientious staff well aware of his duties and rights ready to defend his homeland and people supporting and achieving its legitimacy and gaining the respect of the people for performing their military tasks. Goal of the media strategy: The goals can be summarized as follows: 1. Working to stress the unity and perfection of media work with its radio, written and video means and speak clearly and strongly on government level as well as promoting for products to make for a distribution on national,regional and international level to reach the highest number of followers and interested ones. 2.Contributing to achieve a dialogue between state agencies and people's of different backgrounds for the purpose of harmonizing and linking them with strongest relations all for the good of the country and executing national goals satisfactorily. 3.Deeping level of consciousness of the citizens and enriching their personalities by the stimulating events for the purpose of achieving citizens and national security. However, this cannot be achieved without the full cooperation between different government agencies to attain state policy and its national goals. 4.The media job is to give a message to people to protect the Libyan citizen from intellectual brainwashing and foreign media storm and to affirm the national personality and attain national intellectual and media security to face the foreign currents which threaten values and norms. 5.Forming a media system capable by creativity and performance to hold its place at this present time and secure his firm stance against all risks and challenges which may face the country in the near future and at the same time preserve its national identity, culture and originality and keeping them away from the foreign current. Libyan Military Media In Libya today ," the armed" magazine stands out in the Libyan military media field as it strives through its writers to keep up with everything new in national security and defense technology in addition to introducing the and Libyan military school both locally and internationally through the participation in local and international conferences and exhibitions . Next to this magazine come "the Horizon" and "training" as two of the well known written media. Lately, a radio program has been launched by the name of "air eagles" sponsored by the Libyan air force in a media experience new to the Libyan public in an effort to introduce the activities of the different Libyan army units put forward in a new interesting form and published in the electronic media as there is a special electronic site for the Libyan ministry of defense and the armed magazine in the internet and the Libyan joint chiefs of Staff In the on the social media expressing the point of views of the military leadership on the different events and tackling the important news and activities of the different army units aiming to give the Libyan people all the true information and to disable any anti-campaigns towards weakening of moral spirit or affect the strong unity between the Libyan public with the army and asserting that loyalty shall be given to god first and then the homeland. Another objective is spreading detailed and true army news and information which are based on credibility and objectivity in addressing the Libyan people, and to upgrade the level of communication to convince the people about the capabilities and efficiency and at the same time face the anti-media. The military media faces many obstacles and challenges in terms of professionalism and strategic planning and research and studies. Therefore, more attention shall be paid to the methodological and effective formation in addition to continuous education, dialogue and meetings between the media and coordination must be established between different civil and military bodies and institutions to serve the citizen and the country.
